To keep the gameplay fresh, there are mini games in between the fights. There are a few problems that I had with this though, as the dodge move frequently did not work for me (I ranted about it in a forum thread for this game if you want to hear more about that). I always found it amusing how every level features your character being ambushed by a gang of enemies, but rather than attack you simultaneously, one of them approaches to fight you while the other watch, and when one is defeated (or melts, as they simply don't disappear) another one jumps in. The game never really changes things up so these fights can get boring towards the end if you don't find the mechanics engaging.

As you can probably guess, it doesn't resemble actual kung fu, but you still get to kick, punch, block, and dodge enemy attacks. It is puzzling as to why so many cut scenes were put in, as if you think about the kids' point of view, they don't want to watch cut scenes, they want to punch stuff and I think the same goes for everyone playing this game. Face the screen and bow, like what kung fu masters do when they meet. However, I was lucky enough to discover a way to skip the cut scenes towards the end of the game.

which is monotonous to say the least, which is disappointing because the game is littered with cutscenes, which are far too long and far too numerous, as they feel much longer when you are standing in front of the TV rather than sitting with a controller in your hand.

The story does not follow the movie and instead has its own plot. When I first heard that this would be a kinect game I thought it was a great idea, and for the most part it was, or at the very least the Xbox 360 has the best Kung Fu Panda 2 game out there. I have also played the first game (because it came with LEGO Indiana Jones) but that isn't two important because the 2 games don't really have anything in common.Īnyways, here we have Kung Fu Panda 2, a game based on the 2011 movie of the same name. For starters, I have not seen either of the two movies, and it's also interesting to note that I would not have bought this game if I hadn't found it at a garage sale, which is how I also came to buy a kinect at a different garage sale. Sony has recently announced that it does not plan to release any bundle for Christmas and that it hopes the quality and features of its PlayStation 3 will allow it to sell as well as the Xbox 360.I have a very interesting association with this game. This probably refers to the fact that after the introduction of the new Xbox Live Experience, which is coming on November 19, the users of the Xbox 360 will be able to use Netflix to stream a variety of video content to their consoles.

The holiday bundles will also have a big Netflix logo slapped on as Microsoft is promising those who buy them the chance to get a free trial of the movie delivery service. It also seems that the Xbox 360 Arcade systems, which are currently retailing for a reduced price of 199.99 dollars and which do not have a hard drive, will include a copy of Sega Superstars Tennis and a compilation disc which is said to include a wide variety of Xbox Live Arcade games. The Xbox 360 Pro, which is still priced above the Nintendo Wii and packs a 60 GB hard drive, will also be getting the same videogame bundle. The price will remain 399 dollars despite the additional videogames. The Xbox 360 Elite, which is the most expensive Microsoft made gaming console, equipped with its 120 GB hard drive, will be bundled together with copies of LEGO Indiana Jones and with Kung Fu Panda, a videogame adaptation of the very successful animation movie. The company has not clearly defined all the bundles it plans to release but there are reports from various retailers which show them already in storage while varied sources also list them as available. Microsoft is continuing its strategy of making the Xbox 360 the most interesting console of the Christmas holiday season by putting out a host of bundles which should turn the device into a more attractive one to some gamers.
